Featuring a high resolution, full HD lens that can be rotated 180◦ to record video of events taking place inside the car or out. The main unit has been designed to be detachable from the mount to deter theft of the car event recorder and damage to the vehicle in the event of a theft.

Convenient Voice Guide

Your car event recorder supports voice guide messages. You will hear messages such as “make sure the Micro SD card been inserted” and “an event has taken place”

What’s in the Box?

With the RV-500F you receive the camera, mounting bracket and cigarette lighter charger. Please purchase your micro SD card separately. We recommend the Transcend High Endurance MicroSD (MLC Grade) offered to add to your order at 16GB or 32GB capacity.

You can also add an external GPS antenna to add speed and location to your playback providing accurate data in the event of an accident and a hard wire fused socket if you would prefer not to use the cigarette lighter charger (please ensure this is installed by a qualified auto electrician).

External GPS Antenna

The Roadview GPS Unit will allow the RV 500F to display speed and location on playback.

This is an advantage of the GPS unit to prove the speed of the vehicle is traveling at the time of the incident.

The GPS unit will also display the location on the Road view player.

Hard Wire Fused Socket

This Hard wire socket will allow the Road view 500F to be hard wired into the vehicle so that it can be turned on and off via ignition.
